These terms govern your subscription to Japan Reg Digest, operated by BLUE GRID Inc. ("we", "us"). By subscribing you agree to them.
We summarise in English regulatory documents published by Japanese authorities, and provide a link to each original document. The service is an information service. It is not legal, regulatory, tax, medical or financial advice, and it does not create any professional relationship. The Japanese original document governs in all cases.
We take reasonable care, including human review of each digest against the original, but we do not warrant completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose. Publication practices of the authorities may change without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits or regulatory penalties.
If we identify a factual error in a translation or summary, we issue a correction to all subscribers on the same business day, identifying what was incorrect.
You may circulate digest content within your own organisation. You may not resell, republish publicly, or redistribute the digests outside your organisation without our written consent. You may not use automated means to extract the archive beyond the API provided on the applicable plan.
Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. We may change prices with 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal.
We may change the scope of coverage if an authority changes how it publishes. If we discontinue the service during a paid period, we refund the unused portion.
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
Name, company, email address and billing information provided at subscription; delivery and access logs. Card numbers are collected and held by Stripe, never by us.
To deliver the digests, bill for the service, respond to enquiries, and diagnose delivery problems. We do not use subscriber data for any other purpose.
We do not sell or share personal data. We use processors for payment (Stripe), email delivery and cloud hosting, under contract and only as needed to provide the service.
We are established in Japan and our processors may store data outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on the processor's standard contractual clauses.
Subscriber data is deleted within six months of cancellation. You may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data at the contact address above.
